Why Study English
Walsall Adult and Community College is a college in its communities, for its communities. We provide mature, calm and purposeful environments for learning, where staff members make all our students feel safe and respected at all times
We support people of all abilities to reach their potential, gain qualifications and realise their ambitions. Our learners come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and faiths and we value and celebrate the rich diversity of our college community.
Employers often say that good spoken and written communication are what they most look for when recruiting employees. Unfortunately, many people don’t feel confident enough in their English skills to apply for jobs, attend interviews or even help their children with their schoolwork.
If you think you could gain better skills and equip yourself with the confidence to study further, support your children or compete in the job market, then English courses at WACC are what you need. Our English teachers are well qualified, supportive and understanding and they have all the skills, techniques and the enthusiasm to ensure you both enjoy and succeed in developing your own confidence and skills in English and communications.
All of our English courses will provide you with the opportunity to develop your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
