What will I need to bring with me when I enrol?
In order to enrol you will need to bring proof of any benefits (if applicable), any previous certificates of learning, a form of identification and a form of payment if you are paying for the course.
Can I afford the course and will I have access to special resources if I need them?
Many of our courses are free and different people’s individual circumstances may mean they don’t have to pay course fees. In addition to this, you may be eligible for travel and childcare, depending on your circumstances. Check with our Guidance Team on 01922 663000 who will be able to give you more information.
What facilities and support are available to help with studying?
We have a study centre that can support you with additional learning support, help and guidance in study skills and assistive technology. The Guidance Team also offer a range of services to support you while you study at W.A.C.C including careers advice to ensure you reach your full potential.
Will I be safe?
Yes. Here at W.A.C.C we aim to ensure that all of our learners’ time with us is healthy and safe. We take such responsibilities seriously and our learner surveys show us that over 99% of our learners feel safe. Click here to read more about Safe Learning at W.A.C.C.
I can’t decide whether learning is for me. I don’t think I have enough time in my life to study.
We know that deciding to take up a new course to study can involve some complicated decisions about what course to choose. You can speak to our Guidance Team before you enrol and they will be on hand to help with any questions you have during your studies. Learning with us also means that you can take advantage of our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) called “Moodle”. This allows you opportunities for additional study outside the class, at your own pace and in your own time. It also allows you to communicate with others in your class.
