The Building Better Opportunities programme (BBO) is funded by the Big Lottery & the European Social Fund (ESF).

We are one of 29 partners who make up the Bridges Project across the Black Country, who are all aiming to support disadvantaged people to move closer to their employment goals.

The Bridges Project are based here at WACC (Walsall Adult and Community College). This project is aimed at anyone over the age of 25 who has a learning support need or health condition and lives in Walsall.

We are currently supporting individuals who are thinking about the world of work.

We can offer you support to:

  • Build your confidence
  • Think about your goals and dreams
  • Recognise your skills and gain new ones
  • Explore new experiences and opportunities
  • Get you to where you would like to be

The Bridges Project is free, able to pay for expenses and meet with you at a time and location suitable for you. We also offer the opportunity for small group sessions, trips and outings in a friendly, welcoming and supportive environment.

For more information please contact the team on 01922 658930 / 657099 or email Johanna Francis-Jones (Jfrancis-jones@walsallcollege.ac.uk) and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
